Burford’s High Street slopes towards the River Windrush. Homes vary too: if your property has steps, several floors or an entrance away from the road, include those details when you talk to Liz.
Care is provided by Liz, who is very experienced with cats and dogs. Get to know Liz ↗
COMFY PAWS. COSY HOMES.
Care for your home. Company for your pets.
House sitting
Show how the house works with pets in it. That might mean a stair gate, a separate sleeping room or a back entrance used after walks. Agree what Liz needs to know about the property well before you start packing.
Your house will be vacuumed and left tidy before you arrive home. Light garden care, including watering plants and the lawn, can be agreed with Liz before your stay.
If your cat likes to sleep upstairs but meals are downstairs, explain how they move around the home and which doors must stay open. Feeding visits can be considered where the schedule and journey are practical.
Tell Liz how your dog manages steps and slopes and whether your usual outing involves any sections you avoid. The agreed walks should reflect the animal’s normal day, with rest at home afterwards.
Have rabbits, guinea pigs or other pets too? Tell Liz the species and care routine before booking so suitability can be discussed. Read about other pet sitting ↗
LET’S GET HOLIDAY-READY
Before you pack the suitcase.
A few details help Liz check whether the stay is a good fit. For Burford, start with:
Steps, stair gates and the layout pets normally use.
Where the dog enters after a walk.
Cat feeding and sleeping areas on each floor.
Agree the little things together.
An overnight stay means Liz stays in your home during the agreed nights. Arrival, departure, daytime care and any periods away from the property are discussed in advance; continuous attendance is not assumed.
The calendar is a guide. Contact Liz with your postcode, dates and all your pets’ needs to confirm availability and your quote.
Yes, if they affect access, sleeping arrangements or your pets’ care. Giving Liz a clear description helps identify practical questions before an overnight stay is agreed.
Can we keep the pets in their normal rooms?
Discuss the household rules you already use, including closed doors and pet-free areas. The aim is to follow an agreed familiar routine rather than reorganising the home for the holiday.
