Stow-on-the-Wold is one of the north Cotswolds’ market towns, with surrounding villages forming part of the wider area. A precise address matters more than the nearest well-known town when planning care.
Care is provided by Liz, who is very experienced with cats and dogs. Get to know Liz ↗
COMFY PAWS. COSY HOMES.
Care for your home. Company for your pets.
House sitting
If your home has more than one entrance, show Liz which should be used with the dog and which must stay shut for the cats. An unhurried tour also helps cover rubbish, post and the household arrangements you wish to agree.
Your house will be vacuumed and left tidy before you arrive home. Light garden care, including watering plants and the lawn, can be agreed with Liz before your stay.
Talk through cat flap settings and your cats’ usual indoor or outdoor pattern. If they have different routines, explain each one separately, including how you know everyone has returned for dinner.
A dog used to a quieter outing may not enjoy a busy town-centre route. Share the walks you use, their typical length and the lead or harness that works for your companion.
Have rabbits, guinea pigs or other pets too? Tell Liz the species and care routine before booking so suitability can be discussed. Read about other pet sitting ↗
LET’S GET HOLIDAY-READY
Before you pack the suitcase.
A few details help Liz check whether the stay is a good fit. For Stow-on-the-Wold, start with:
The entrance to use when taking dogs out.
Cat flap settings and each cat’s usual routine.
The full address, including any property name.
Agree the little things together.
An overnight stay means Liz stays in your home during the agreed nights. Arrival, departure, daytime care and any periods away from the property are discussed in advance; continuous attendance is not assumed.
The calendar is a guide. Contact Liz with your postcode, dates and all your pets’ needs to confirm availability and your quote.
Yes. Include its name, postcode, dates and whether you need overnight care or cat visits. Liz checks the actual journey and care schedule before confirming coverage for the booking.
Can we discuss household tasks as well as pets?
Yes. Explain the everyday home arrangements you have in mind before agreeing the stay. Your house will be vacuumed and left tidy for your return; additional tasks should be discussed individually.
