Stroud sits where the area’s five valleys meet. A postcode alone may not explain the last part of the approach to your property, so mention any hill, shared drive or access arrangement Liz should know about.
Care is provided by Liz, who is very experienced with cats and dogs. Get to know Liz ↗
COMFY PAWS. COSY HOMES.
Care for your home. Company for your pets.
House sitting
Show Liz where the pets wait while you open gates or bring things through the door. If the house has separate levels or a shared outdoor area, explain which spaces are part of their normal day and how they are secured.
Your house will be vacuumed and left tidy before you arrive home. Light garden care, including watering plants and the lawn, can be agreed with Liz before your stay.
For cats, keep feeding and litter information separate from the dog’s instructions. Tell Liz whether a cat is allowed outside and how you handle the routine when the household is away.
Hilly surroundings do not decide the exercise plan: your dog’s normal routine does. Discuss pace, walk length and any easier route you use, along with towels and the usual place to settle afterwards.
Have rabbits, guinea pigs or other pets too? Tell Liz the species and care routine before booking so suitability can be discussed. Read about other pet sitting ↗
LET’S GET HOLIDAY-READY
Before you pack the suitcase.
A few details help Liz check whether the stay is a good fit. For Stroud, start with:
The final approach and any shared access.
A normal walking route and a gentler alternative.
How cats and dogs use the outdoor space.
Agree the little things together.
An overnight stay means Liz stays in your home during the agreed nights. Arrival, departure, daytime care and any periods away from the property are discussed in advance; continuous attendance is not assumed.
The calendar is a guide. Contact Liz with your postcode, dates and all your pets’ needs to confirm availability and your quote.
Can I enquire from a village in the Stroud valleys?
Yes. Give Liz the actual village and postcode along with your dates. Coverage and practical travel arrangements are checked for the individual booking, particularly for cat visits.
Can the dogs keep using their own beds and equipment?
That is the starting point to discuss: show Liz the normal sleeping spaces, leads and harnesses. Mention any equipment with an unusual fastening or specific instructions during the handover.
